Atlantis Fellowship: Ecuador. Summer 2017.
3 Reasons to Go Abroad as a Pre-med.
Clinical Experience (Shadowing)
As a pre-med student, it's difficult to study abroad. We make it easy. You will spend 20+ hours/week in a hospital shadowing doctors, rotating through various specialties. This intense medical exposure lets you view medicine in action and fulfills the "clinical experience" requirements that med schools have on their "checklist".
MCAT, Volunteering and Research
Many of our Fellowship programs in Ecuador offer excellent opportunities for MCAT prep, volunteering and research.
Peer and Doctor Network
Build lasting friendships + professional relationships with pre-meds from other schools. Also, build long-lasting professional links to doctors/hospitals abroad.
