why did you choose the atlantis fellowship?

I chose this program to get a broader medical context than just what I had observed in the UK. I shadowed surgery, general consultations, and case-to-case medical explanations from a wide range of medical experts. I was also exposed for the first time to Portuguese customs and cultural differences, making my experience even more ground-breaking.

HOW IS THE ATLANTIS PROJECT UNIQUE?

The Atlantis Project combines not only a pre-med training opportunity and access to valuable mentorship, but it provides the opportunity to place and understand your future career goal in a global perspective. I had the opportunity to compare and contrast between medical systems worldwide.

DESCRIBE THE ATLANTIS PROJECT IN THREE WORDS:

Global. Challenging. Life-changing.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE part of the atlantis fellowship?

The Atlantis Project gave me the opportunity to break from my comfort zone and to question ideologies or views I previously held.

What are your post-grad plans?

I plan to attend medical school in the United States. I have been accepted into a few medical schools, but have not yet decided where I will go.
